​In late 2011, The Louisiana Chapter of the PMC Guild was formed to celebrate “L'esprit du Métal”, the spirit of metal.  We are a group of dedicated metal clay enthusiasts who gather together to:

Promote education and understanding of metal clay among its members and the community
Share knowledge of metal clay techniques
Encourage and inspire each other
Advance our artistic development in metal clay of all forms

In practice, we love all things metal and related to the jewelry arts!  We hold regular meetings in Lafayette, Alexandria and Baton Rouge, and have sponsored several specialty workshops for our members.

While a separate organization, L'sprit du Métal calls the LAA "home", and many of our members are also LAA members.  We maintain a case in the Green Apple Boutique featuring work from L'sprit du Métal members.
