The Lafayette Watercolor Guild, sponsored by and a part of the Lafayette Art Association, was established March, 2008 and now boasts a robust and growing membership. The Guild meets monthly at the LAA Gallery.

One of the hallmarks of the Guild is a continuing series of workshops, seminars and demonstrations. Workshop instructors have included Don Andrews, Judy Betts, Tom Jones, Martha Guthrie, Sara Parker and Robert Guthrie. Notable experts in archival framing and preservation have addressed the group, most recently Roger Laurent.
