At this time of year, let us pause

to All of our LAA Volunteers!

As we begin the new year at the Lafayette Art Association here in Lafayette, Louisiana, it is fitting and proper to give a special thanks to the many LAA Volunteers who work tirelessly to make our non-profit art association such a continuing success! Kudos to all LAA members who help make everything happen for us!

There have been several questions lately concerning the salaries of the Lafayette Art Gallery staff. The answer is: NO SALARIES! The Lafayette Art Gallery has been run by volunteers who have freely given of their time and energies for over 20+ years! We have been able to survive while many other galleries have gone by the wayside because of our diligent staff who give tirelessly of themselves and because of our supportive volunteers who also generously give of their time and energy without pay. So, we not only pay no salaries, but no payroll taxes either.

Of course, we always need more assistance
so if you would like to consider being a volunteer,
